Paint Detackifiers

Paint Detackifiers

Proprietary in-house formulations developed for automotive and industrial paint booth water operatoins. Designed to detackify paint, agglomerate paint solids, and promote efficient sludge separation, reducing downtime while maintaining clean and stable booth water conditions.

Compatible with solvent-based, water-based, and hybrid paint types, including clearcoats, primers, basecoats, and specialty coatings. These programs support controlled overspray management and predictable downstream water performance.

Coagulants and flocculants formulated to enhance clarification and solid separation, followed by sludge conditioning and biological treatment to maintain consistent system performance and achieve the optimum system parameters, backed and maintained by our certified technical specialists.

Spraybooth Treatment
ITS commenced its engagement as a technical partner for spray booth water treatment, supplying paint detackification chemicals, dosing equipments and providing on-site technical support.
2016
Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) & Cost Reduction Activities (CRA)
The scope expanded into industrial water treatment alongside system improvements and cost-reduction initiatives across interconnected treatment processes.
2021
Biological Treatment Processes
Additional responsibility was undertaken to stabilise biological treatment performance during extended shutdown periods and accelerate system recovery during plant restart under high-load conditions.
2022
Cooling System & Utility Water Treatment
Then into cooling tower treatment, ensuring stable heat exchange performance, controlled chemical consumption, and reliable utility operation.
2023
Screw Press & Sludge Dewatering Upgrade
Screw press was installed, stabilising sludge dewatering, eliminating overflow events, and significantly reducing reliance on high-cost tanker disposal.
2024
Advanced System Upgrades & Load Management
Pilot plant systems were deployed to handle higher production loads and reduce recycle strain, and RO reject and fluoride treatment systems were deployed to improve load handling and reduce annual operating costs.
Project Summary: ITS has supported Perodua through long-term, multi-system engagements covering paint shop, water, biological treatment, DI, RO, cooling system utilities, system upgrading & maintenance and more. Earlier systems continue to operate while new scopes are progressively added, reflecting sustained operational trust and consistent technical delivery. Over the course of the engagement since 2014, we've contributed to cumulative estimated savings of approximately RM11 million to date.
